The concept
Players enter a world where they must become the next top fashion designer before the industry is taken over by the conglomerate brand CAPERE. Levels increase in difficulty across "Fashionlandia."
My focus
I honed in on UI design — finding new, creative ways to display player health and items more aesthetically. The challenge was making game mechanics feel fashionable, not just functional.
Key takeaway
Game UI is UX design under the hardest constraint: it must never break immersion. Every HUD element had to serve the player without pulling them out of the world of Fashionlandia.
